Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of HabitChallenge (the "Service"), operated by Andrei Lazurca ("we," "us"). By using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
1. What HabitChallenge is
HabitChallenge is a web-based habit tracker that lets you commit to a time-bounded challenge (30, 60, or 90 days), log daily habits, and compare progress with a small group ("tribe"). It is not medical, financial, legal, or psychological advice. If you have a health condition or are considering significant lifestyle changes, consult a qualified professional before relying on anything in the Service.
2. Your account
You may use the Service without an account (local-only mode) or sign in with your email to sync across devices. You are responsible for any activity under your email. If you lose access to your email you may lose access to your data; we cannot recover accounts for other identifiers.
3. Pricing and payments
HabitChallenge is $15 USD, charged once, for lifetime access to the Service as it exists today and reasonable future updates. Referral codes may reduce the price to $12.99. All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc., and are subject to Stripe's terms. We do not store your full card details.
4. 30-day money-back guarantee
If you are not satisfied for any reason within 30 days of your purchase, email lazurca.va@gmail.com with your order details and we will refund you in full. No questions asked. After 30 days, purchases are non-refundable.
5. Referral program
Each paid user gets a referral code they can share. When a new customer uses that code at checkout, the new customer gets $2 off and the referrer earns $2 of in-platform credit. Credits are tracked server-side and can be used toward future purchases or paid out at our discretion. We may change or discontinue the referral program at any time; existing credits will be honored.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for anything illegal
- attempt to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service
- share your account with multiple people (each user needs their own account for data to work correctly)
- abuse the tribe or leaderboard features (spam, harassment, impersonation)
- attempt to interfere with the Service's operation
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with a refund for unused time if your account was in good standing.
7. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the data you enter into HabitChallenge (habits logged, scores, tribe names). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that data as needed to operate the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle it.
8. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change features, suspend the Service for maintenance, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice. If we shut down the Service permanently, we will give you at least 30 days to export your data and will refund purchases made in the preceding 90 days.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee any specific health, fitness, or productivity outcomes from using it — that depends on you. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. If a change is material, we will try to notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any dispute will be resolved in the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania.
